Spring 2026 Schedule

Dates & Times

Spring Wingspan programming will be available January 26th to May 7th. Limited appointments will be available during finals week. When classes are not in session for holidays, or if classes are canceled due to inclement weather, programming will not be offered.

Locations

Lawrence Campus

Writing consultations, individual tutoring, and peer academic coaching are available in the Wingspan: Center for Learning & Writing Support at the Lawrence Campus in Anschutz Library, room 424. 

Supplemental Instruction sessions take place at many locations on campus. Check the SI page and/or your course Canvas page for times and locations.

Edwards Campus

Writing consultations and ASL tutoring are available on the Edwards campus in Regents Center 125. Building construction has ended so you may enter through the Regents Center front doors.

Online

Tutoring, writing consultations, and peer academic coaching are also available virtually through Zoom, and there is an asynchronous option called eTutoring for writing support.

Drop-in Support 

Lawrence Campus

In addition to appointments, which are available both in-person and online, we offer drop-in support in-person for tutoring and graduate writing. Designated tutoring drop-in times for undergraduate students are Mondays-Thursdays from 2-5 pm. These will take place in the Wingspan's annex space across the hall on the 4th floor of Anschutz Library (outside Reading Room).

Graduate students may use drop-in writing consulting on Fridays from 10 am - 4 pm during Fridays on Fourth in Watson Library graduate student lounge on the 4th floor.

You may also come by the Wingspan in Anschutz Library 424 at any time during our open hours to see if a peer educator is available, though we cannot guarantee an appointment. 

Edwards Campus

You may come by Regents Center 125 for writing or ASL support at any time during our open hours to see if a tutor is available, though we cannot guarantee an appointment. 

Appointment System

The Wingspan uses Jayhawk GPS (Navigate360) for our appointment system. Find instructions for booking an appointment on the Wingspan's appointments page.
