Dates & Times

Fall Wingspan programming will be available September 3, 2024 to December 12, 2024. Limited Finals Week appointments will be available December 16-20th. Appointment times will be announced closer to finals. 

When classes are not in session for holidays, or if classes are canceled due to inclement weather, programming will not be offered.

Locations

Writing consultations and individual tutoring are available in the Wingspan: Center for Learning & Writing Support at the Lawrence Campus in Anschutz Library, room 424, or online. Peer Academic Coaching is in the Wingspan's annex space across the hall on the 4th floor of Anschutz Library (outside Reading Room).

Currently the Wingspan does not offer face-to-face appointments at Edwards Campus. For students who are primarily affiliated with Edwards Campus, we recommend making a Zoom appointment or an eTutoring (written feedback) appointment.

KU Edwards Campus students are also welcomed to visit our Anschutz Library location on the Lawrence Campus for face-to-face appointments. We strongly encourage students to book appointments in advance to make sure that they will be able to meet with a peer educator when they arrive in Lawrence. 

Drop-in Support

In addition to appointments, which are available both in-person and online, we offer drop-in support in-person for writing, tutoring, and coaching. If you can't get an appointment, the times don't work with your schedule, or you just have a short question, we will have designated drop-in times this semester for undergraduate students Mondays-Thursdays from 3-5 pm. These will take place in Anschutz Library on the 4th floor in study carrels 435, 436, and 437.

Graduate students may use drop-in writing consulting on Fridays from 10 am - 4 pm during Fridays on Fourth in Watson Library graduate student lounge on the 4th floor.

You may also come by the Wingspan in Anschutz Library 424 at any time during our open hours to see if a peer educator is available, though we cannot guarantee an appointment.
